My brother, mom, and dad all have degrees from Northwestern

Chance me please? I'll chance back!

Definitely a really good chance at all of them to be honest, especially with early acceptance, all AP classes your senior year is really challenging and will be seen that way by colleges

what are you trying to major in?

Theres no such thing as a really good chance at any such college. Your stats are good but these schools don’t just look for high scoring kids. You need to really stand out with essays and letters of recs

You’d probably have a great chance at Northwestern, especially because your family went there as well. I don’t think that your senior year schedule appears any less challenging than your sophomore/junior class load. If you want another way to try and stand out, take the SAT also. I’ve heard from college admissions officers that a high SAT score paired with an equally high ACT score, like yours, helps out a lot (however, that’s usually for people with lower GPAs)

@lampglove‌: I believe you have a solid chance to be admitted to Duke, with the following caveats:

 1. Even with your outstanding record – congratulation on your excellent, earned accomplishments – probably 50+ percent of your competition will essentially be similarly distinguished; therefore, there are no certainties.
 2. Your essays and recommendations will be critically important.
 3. ED will marginally improve selection probability; however, you MUST be certain Duke is financially viable (carefully use Duke’s NPC to ascertain your likely family financial contribution) and additional your unquestionable top college choice; if either or both of these conditions are not met, applying ED is likely unwise.

Good luck, you’ve earned it.
