Hello CC, I:
· am a Korean female rising senior from Vancouver, Canada.
· have a US permanent residence and have lived in many countries before, due to my father's job.
· self-studied for all my SAT's and AP's because my school didn't offer any (I will mention this in my essay).

My stats are:

[[[[SAT]]]]]
(Reasoning: Oct 2011) - CR 750, W 780, M 790, Total 2320
(Reasoning: Oct 2012) - Goal 2370+
(Subject) Bio 740, MathII 800, Korean 800, Chem probably 800
...biology was taken in soph year. I should have studied for it.

[[[[[GPA]]]]
Top 5% (~15/300). My school doesn't offer GPA .
I've taken the most rigorous courses offered.
(Soph) 94% avg.
(Junior) 96% avg.

[[[AP]]] 5: Biology

[[[[ETC]]]]
· Regional math competition: BC 2nd place as sophomore, BC 1st place as junior.
· National AP Scholar (Canada)
· Letter of recommendation from UBC professor

... Yes I know, my EC's and Awards aren't so great compared to US Asian applicants. However please note that, for me, it's been significantly harder because I'm one of the very few students applying to the US. My school didn't even offer national math contests.

So...

I feel that UChicago's science research facilities and undergrad liberal arts education will best suit me, since I'm passionate for not only biology but also literature, art, and psychology, and willing to explore various fields in university.

Therefore I'm applying to UChicago EA (as well as MIT and Caltech; at least I can try!).
As for regular, I still haven't decided, but will apply to a bunch of Top 20 schools and safeties and hope to get in...
What are my chances, if any?
Thank you, CC!
