<p>Haha how are you top 3% if you’re home schooled? Are you the 3rd best out of 10 siblings?
I’d say decent chance. SAT II’s aren’t that important but I would just retake them because everything counts. And I would consider retaking the SAT or taking the ACT if you have the time/money. You’re score isn’t low, but it isn’t high either. You have great EC’s though</p>

<p>I’ve been teaching music for 25 years & have taught thousands of students. I will say that when it comes to top performers or outright ‘smar’ kids, ‘intellectual’, or whatever label you want to use, homes-choolers are #1, private school second, & public schooled dead last.</p>
<p>Did you take AP exams? It’s kinda hard to gauge the difficulty of your high school curriculum when you took classes at a community college. </p>
<p>Other than that get your standardized test scores up and write passionate, unique essays. UChicago is a reach for everyone, but if you increase your test scores and write engaging, personal essays, you’ll be qualified.</p>
