Chance me for UChicago

Location: West Virginia
Ethnicity: Asian
Also don't know if this matters, but I'm a twin. He's got stuff of the same caliber.

Academics

Class Rank- 10 (Class size: 271)
Unweighted GPA: I honestly don't know, but its gotta be like 3.85 or higher Weighted GPA: 4.6504
SAT: 2170 (740 Reading, 780 Math, 650 Writing (got an 8 on the essay; that's why the score's so low)
ACT: Not really planning on turning in to UChicago but currently its highest composite 29, highest english 31, highest math 35, highest reading 28 (took another ACT recently, that'll shoot my reading up to at least a 33 or 34), highest science 30 (also will get boosted up to around 33), and highest writing 8 (I suck at writing). Question on this: Can I turn in my ACT score with the highest scores passed deadline as long as I have the application in? Because the score will be coming out Nov. 8

You take too many AP Courses though really… you could probably triple major at a state university or graduate in like 2 or 2.5 years.

Anyway, you’re in pretty much. Applying EA?

Ya, Early Action.

I don’t actually know where you found the time to take all of those AP Classes! But I think you have a great shot, as long as your Essays are great, since that is the real important part of a UC application!
Good Luck, I’m applying to UC EA as well!

very good. except your SAT could go up a lot if you got an 11 or a 12. I find its really easy to improve your essay if you work on having supporting evidence pools before taking the test.

I’d say you’re in no matter where you want to go. Just make sure your essays are top-notch to polish off your great credentials.

You have a very good chance of being accepted.
Good luck!
