Hi! So I'm a junior but I'm looking to see whether or not I should be looking to apply for UChicago next year.

GPA- weighted 3.9, unweighted 3.6
ACT- 33
Haven't taken the SAT yet, but I was in the 98th percentile on the past few PSAT's

EC's
Youth group
Student council
President of service and outreach committee
United for Uganda core member
Competitive show choir
Varsity dance team

3 on AP European History Exam
4 on AP language and composition

Assuming you don’t have a hook, your GPA is on the low end… my kid got in with a 3.7 two years ago, but she also had a 2380 superscored SAT, 800 Math II subject test, and 800 Lit subject test. Your test scores probably aren’t high enough at this point to offset your GPA. See if you can tug that unweighted GPA up to a 3.7 this year, and study really hard to get your test scores up. Then it is about fit (they like an intellectual bent there) and your essays. Start early on the essays, give a lot of thought to what topic you want to write on once they release the questions. And apply EA.
