Chance Me for UCLA and UCBerkeley!

<p>Hey, I am currently a senior in an Ohio public school. Chance me!</p>

<p>SAT: 2170
ACT: 33
School Weighted/Unweighted: 4.2/3.8
Class Rank: 34/660
UC GPA: UC doesn't count out of state honors classes, so I think it is around 3.8. </p>

<p>Senior Year Course Load: AP Spanish, AP English, AP Econ, AP Calc BC, AP Stats, Jazz Ensemble.
Junior Year Course Load: AP Gov (A/A), AP Psych (A/A), Spanish III (A/A) Honors Physics (B/A), Honors Pre-Calc (B/B), Honors English (B/B) Symphonic Winds (A/A). I got 5's on AP Gov and Psych tests
Sophomore Year: No AP's, got all A's in everything except Honors Algebra II
Freshman Year: Doesn't matter...</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: President of Multicultural Club (11,12)
Board Member of Spanish Club (10,11,12)
Leadership Team of Marching Band (10,11,12) <-----ALOT of after-school hours put in this one, award winning band
Academic Quiz Team (11,12)
<em>Disclosed City Name</em>'s Youth Jazz Orchestra (12)
Also, school's Symphonic Winds was one of five high-school bands invited to play at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago my junior year</p>

<p>Volunteering: Very little to none, i'm a spanish tutor one hour a week and that's about it.
Awards: Buckeye Boys State Delegate, National Honor Society
Essays: Solid
Summer Programs: Went to a university summer camp in Istanbul for 2 weeks
I'm Turkish and am a first generation immigrant (diversity if that counts)
Lemme know what you guys think!</p>

<p>I think most likely in both.
If there is anything to work on, it would be volunteering.</p>

<p>UC Berkeley is a toss up I would say. You definitely have the scores to get in and they tend not to look at ECs as much (I think based on my experience with my brother) so that is good for you. I would say UCLA is a low match and UC Berkeley is a match/high match.</p>

<p>thanks guys!
any other opinions would be greatly appreciated!</p>

<p>UC GPA does take in account your best eight AP courses, though. So I’d say that your UC GPA is in the 4.0 range.</p>

<p>Assuming that you can pay full freight:</p>

<p>Berkeley: Match
UCLA: Match</p>
