ECs:
-Been in Girl Scouts since the age of 5, currently an Ambassador GS. I have about 180 hours of community service in high school through Girl Scouts.
-Adventure Guides: (ages 7 until present) a child parent organization through the YMCA. As of recent I have been volunteering to run activities at camp outs for the younger kids.
-Academic Team: (9-12) I'm currently co-captain. Kind of like the Quiz Bowl? I'm not really sure how to describe it
-Dance: (10-12) About 6hr/wk. In my app I wrote about how I worked my way up from Dance 1 to Dance 3 at my school which is extremely difficult to do and is rarely done by someone with no dance experience.
-Water Polo: (10-12) about 12hr/wk for 30ish weeks a year. JV 10-11 and Varisty 12 (starter). I was captain of the JV team my junior year
-Swim Team: (10-12) about 10 hr/wk for 15 weeks a year. JV 10 and Varsity 11-12

Work Experience:
For the past 2 summers (and the upcoming one) I've worked as a lifeguard on Camp Pendleton. I work about 16 hr/wk during the school year and 25 hr/wk over summer.

Awards (nothing spectacular):
AP Scholar with Distinction
Lifeguard of the Month
All Academic Team (for Varsity swimming)
California Scholarship Federation
Leadership Award (obtained through Girl Scouts)

My essays for the UC's have both been reviewed by multiple teachers and are actually pretty excellent.

I applied to both UCLA and USC with an undeclared major but focusing on physical sciences. Is there any chance they will see this and not be as critical about the low Reading/Writing scores on the SAT but focus more on the Math/Chemistry scores? (worth a shot)

So far I've been accepted to UCSD, UC Davis, Univeristy of San Diego and CSUSM

I know it's too late to do anything but I am ridiculously nervous about UCLA as this is my first choice school. Any input would be highly appreciated and I'll give additional info as needed :) thanks in advance!
