UCLA/UCB: High Match
UC GPA? <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Scores and GPA look competitive. Good Luck.

UC GPA = 4.31. Not sure if this is good or bad… I took 26 semesters worth of classes total, but my GPA is apparently limited because of the cap of 8 UC approved honors courses maximum.

UCB -high match
UCLA -match

What exactly does high match mean?

Since Cal’s school of engineering has a 9.7% acceptance rate, it’s a bit unpredictable as to who will get in or not, so that’s why it could be considered a high match

Thanks!

Your chances look pretty good to me. Scores are very competitive and ECs look good. I would say UCLA is practically a definite. Berkeley is obviously very selective so, like TheCalculator stated, its quite unpredictable, but you definitely have a great shot. Good luck!

UCB low reach. UCLA high match. Reach means that you would be pretty lucky to get in and low reach means that in the range of matches, this particular one is not difficult (eg. Harvard would be high reach and Berkeley would be low reach). Match means that you’d fit in at the school and you should most likely get in. High match means it’s slightly harder than a match but not quite into the reach range yet.
