ucla and ucsd: match
ucb: slight reach/match

SAT score: Match
GPA: A little Below.
You’ll definitely get in UCSD, but i dunno about LA and Berkeley because sometimes they reject top kids.

ucsd: match
ucb/ucla: low reach

your ec’s are just ok to slightly below average in my opinion. SAT’s are great and the UC GPA is slightly below what UCB/UCLA usually accept.

So, with a good essay, I could probably get into UCLA (I don’t really care for Berkeley), and with a normal essay, I can get into UCSD?

Haha, then I’ll work hard on my essays :)

UCLA/Cal: Match/Slight Reach (GPA)
UCSD: Match/Safe Match

Write a good essay!

Every UC application looks so similar… Especially the ECs and scores… An instrument, a high home language SAT II score, some volunteering, few clubs, and occasionally a semi-competitive sport. SAT scores with a range of 1900 to 2100.

Sigh… Oh well… your chances are good as everybody else for UCB and LA. I hope you can write about something significant in your personal essay. Other than that, you might be seen as a dime a dozen competitive applicant from a suburban neighborhood with public education people just assume is good because they have competitive students(trust me… it’s not because the schools teach especially well…).
