Major GPA: 4.00
IGETC completed
but have 4 pre-requisites in progress (basic level classes though. i don't know why i was putting it off :<)
Portfolio: pretty strong, i think :P. mostly photoshop and illustrator based, also few pieces of acrylic and graphite. ~5 pieces purely on design (book covers, cd cover designs, etc) and rest, fine art
and had my personal statement looked over by many professors so I'd say that is strong as well.
Internship: At an advertising design firm. </p>

<p>I was looking at the transfer rates for DMA (Design/Media Arts) and it is super impacted. I'm so nervous...
I got into Visual Arts for UCSD so I do have a backup. But I'm not too fond of UCSD's campus and the region so I am really hoping my UCLA application pulls through. It's my dream school!
I applied to UCLA, UCB, UCI, UCSD and USC but I only heard back from UCSD.</p>

<p>Did you receive an open house invite for this upcoming friday? I think your stats are pretty strong and you seem confident in both your portfolio and writing components, so that’s very good! I have read through the cc forum though, that if you did not receive an invite to the arts and architecture open house this upcoming friday that you have been informally rejected by the school.</p>
