@kiwiberrybom This is pretty easy to chance for a UC since your gpa is at a 4.0, your act score at 32 then you have a 50%-60% of being admitted to UCLA and UC Berkeley. However, I would do some honor courses and APs if I were you to ensure that I have a real good chance since both are getting more and more selective recently. UCSD you have a 68%-70% chance of admission, UCSB you have 68%-71% chance of admission, UCI you have an 83% chance of admission based on gpa alone and a 66% chance based on act score alone. Therefore, your chances UCI are 66%-83% chance of admission and finally UC davis you have 59.6%-75.6% chance of admission.

All these stats are based on gpa and act score alone. Your extracurriculars seem great but won’t effect your chances that much although I think UCLA and UC Berkeley take the holistic process seriously.

UCSB also considers essays/EC’s very important. On their website they state for their UC application review, that 50% is based on GPA/Test Scores/HS rigor and 50% on Essays and EC’s. You are Junior, so things can change before the end of the year. You are on the right track with GPA and test scores, but I see few AP classes on your schedule. Does your school offer limited AP’s? If you are not taking a rigorous course load, this will impact your chances. If your school does not offer many AP’s, then this will not effect your chances as much.

As @Ali1302 has pointed out, your academics are competitive, but all the UC’s will take into account your essays and EC’s, some more than others. Come back at the end of your Junior year with your final stats and you can be chanced more easily.

Good luck and keep up the good work.

I also think that you have started well and are in track. Keep up the good work and listen to the above posters’ advices! I have nothing more to add.

dont ask for a chance thread without finishing junior year, makes it much harder to chance let alone predict what your grades will be
