hard to say without test scores, but you’re on the right track.

If that’s your UC GPA and can get a 2100 plus you’ll have a good shot at UCB and LA and a 2050 will give you a good shot at SD.

Your rank needs to be in the 4/5%–UCB and UCLA will many times only accept ELC students. In order to be an ELC student you need to be top 4/5% of your class.

You are doing well for a sophomore; keep it up. If you can take more AP classes your junior year, then please do so and also do well in them. That is because UCs basically just look at your sophomore/junior year record and take into consideration your senior year course load (they don’t see your senior year record until you are accepted).

Also a suggestion:

You should visit the UC Berkeley/LA forum next time if you want even more accurate chance/help. No offense to anyone here, but the students/alums on the particular school’s forum will be more helpful and precise with their chancings and advices.

I know for Berkeley, at least, there is a specific thread dedicated for chancing, and one for questions.

In case you don’t know where to find it, it’s under CC Top Universities.

need test scores, but looks like you are doing well so far

Thanks guys, I appreciate your insight.
To Kitkatz: Ok, Ill stop by those subforums next time. Thanks.
