Thank you gman! That’s very nice of you :)

I would say a high match for both if you take challenging senior classes and you write a good essay. Your GPA is amazing, you have solid ECs, the only real weakness I see is your SAT which is a little on the low side for both (assuming its a 1900) but I’m sure you will get it up. I think you got a solid chance though. Like gman said I think you got a really good chance even if you apply right after highschool.
Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1602933-lets-see-how-many-reaches-ive-applied-will-post-results-they-come.html

You’re only a junior, so you have plenty of time to get your SAT up to 2100+. I wouldn’t worry too much, and I think if you get your test scores into that range, you’ll have a decent shot. If you come from a low income family, you might want to consider some Cali private schools as well, because you could a full ride in financial aid, and they’ll be more sensitive to your background (USC, Stanford).
