Please chance me for UCLA, UCI, UCSB, Chapman University, and Cal Poly SLO.
You don't have to do all, but it'd be appreciated! I'll chance back, just comment below your link or post your stats. Thank you guys :)

UCLA, high reach. (SAT is just too low)
UCSB, reach.
UCI + Chapman, match.

you seem very cool first of all and i wish you luck
your gpa…what so jealous. nice job! that will help
your sat and act are low, however. why is that? if youre just not a good test taker than i totally understand (me too man!), maybe take it again if you can?
ucla is kind of a reach but feasible especially bc your a ca resident!
uci, ucsb, chapman calpoly should give you positive results!
any chance you wanna go outside of cali? just curious

chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1572735-chance-me-ed-cornell-please-ill-chance-back.html</a></p>

Thank you kentrian.

Dream1111: whoa, I was just chancing you while you were chancing me! Haha thank you so much! I am definitely a terrible test taker (my first SAT score was 1550…ha…haha…ha). I already took it 3 times. :frowning: And I’m not applying out of state for financial and family reasons. :)

haha i know so weird!
trust me the SAT is just a bunch of garbage. its just a business and in my opinion does not reflect a student’s potential at all (like you for example with your grades)
dont let it get you down its just a number, hopefully schools understand that

Sorry but they are all reaches

the people above don’t know what they’re talking about. i don’t think they realize UCs mostly care about GPA, and yours is amazing. and an 1800 isn’t good, but it isn’t thaaat bad. not to mention you have great ECs too. so here’s your realistic chances:
UCLA: reach
UCSB: match/high match
UCI: match/high match
Chapman: low match
Cal Poly SLO: match/high match

What is your intended major?

That’s a big part of this. I know someone who got in to UCSB but was denied at Chapman. Reason? At Chapman, he applied to the crazy competitive Dodge College of Film & Media, currently ranked #7 in the country. Likewise, there are majors at CalPoly that are easier to get in to than others.

UCs use holistic reviews. They look at everything. That SAT is fairly disappointing, though.

UCLA: reach
UCSB: high match
UCI: match
Chapman: low match
Cal Poly SLO: match

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1574644-please-chance-my-ed-ea-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Bring up your SAT, the UC’s being large public schools look at numbers and scores a lot
(also look at holistic review, but not as much as other schools) and your SAT is kinda low. But besides that you look great. Good luck!

UCLA- Reach
UCSB- low reach
UCI + Chapman- match
