Essays: pretty good

So what are my chances at UC Los Angeles, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, & UC Santa Cruz? I’m really nervous about the B’s I got in math. My school has a very good math program to prepare you for calculus & my calc teacher has only ever had one person fail the AP Calc test, with the yearly average score being about a 4.75. So at least my B’s are still worth something I guess? Still scares me that it doesn’t look like I’m that good at what I’m really interested in doing.

oops I meant CIF #17 seed doubles, makes a huge difference

Also a bit of local context: My high school is kind of awful. It’s been a program improvement school for several years & the year after I graduate, they’re going to make some huge changes to administration because of this. I once had a neighbor who applied to Cal Tech & even after being invited up to hit with their tennis team and hangout, was denied and told that it was solely because his high school was not competitive enough.
