.World around me and how it has affected my dreams and aspirations - described my cross country team's culture, how they became my community, and how it inspired me to not only run with them until we are gray-haired old men, but also to take part in as many groups in my life that foster the importance of camaraderie.

Everyone who has read my essays, from my AP english teacher to my friends at Stanford and Columbia Univeristy said they were very well written, but I guess it depends how the schools like the topics I chose

I appreciate your honest feedback greatly, thank you! Also if i forgot to mention something in here, just mention so and i'll post it.

Chance me for UCLA, UCSB, UCSC, please:)

UCLA- low reach

UCSB- low match

UCSC= safety

Thanks jshain. those were my inklings as well. Glad to know I wasn’t being very naive about my chancesXD. Still would love to read more opinions!

i would say UCSB is probably a match, with UCLA being a legitimate reach

UCLA: reach
UCSB: match
UCSC: low match

good luck!
