Chance me for UC's and CSUs: Computer Engineering

Hi there. I am from northern california.

I applied to UC’s and CSUs last month.

Here’s my basic resume:
3.88 unweighted GPA. 4.23 weighted.
Grades: 9th grade (no honors) all A’s. 10th grade (1 AP): All A’s. 11th grade (3 AP’s, 1 honors): All A’s, 2 B’s. 12th grade (5 AP’s): So far all A’s.
1640 SAT. Took another one last week, felt like it was an 1800. Took practice tests before and got around 1800.
Didn’t turn in AP tests, I only took 2 AP tests and they were both 2’s

Planning to take 3 AP tests this coming spring.
Computer Engineering as Major, Engineering Undeclared or electrical engineering as Alternate Major.
Extra Curriculars:
Leadership/Student Government (Student body secretary) for 2 years.
Cross Country JV for 2 years.
Concert Band for 4 years.
Marching band for 1 year.
20 hours of volunteering at local library. 30 overall volunteer hours.
Tutoring a kid in math for 4 years.
Secretary of Robotics club this year.
National Service club for 2 years.
Key Club for 2 years (community service).

I got my personal statements checked by several teachers, and they’re very good according to my feedback.

I applied to San Jose State, both Cal Poly’s, San Francisco State

As for UCs, I applied all of them except for UC LA.

If you get the chance, I’d appreciate it if I got like a percentage of how likely I could get into each school I applied to.

Thanks :]

Forgot to mention that I included in my app that I took piano lessons for 4 years, and I included in my personal statement how piano helped shape who I am.

SFSU: Low Match
CPP/SJSU/UCR/UCM: Match
UCSC: High Match
UCD/UCSB/UCI/SLO: Low Reach
UCSD: Reach
UCB: High Reach

Although your GPA looks very competitive, your SAT score is low even with a possible 1800 especially for any Engineering major in the Mid to Upper UC’s. You are good for the lower tier UC’s and CSU’s with exception of SLO.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the response!
