Please chance me for all UC’s except for Berekly and these CSU’s: Cal Poly SLO, SDSU, and SJSU

Thank You!

What’s your intended major?

I will assume your current trend holds through first semester of senior year. LA/Berkeley are reaches. SD is a low reach. Davis/SB/Irvine high matches. UCSC/Riverside match. Merced low match.

Cal poly is a high match. SJSU and SDSU are matches.

Your GPA is a bit low as is your SAT score…Your ec’s are above average so they will definitely help for average schools.

My intended major will probably be computer science

@PaperMonst3r yes, that is what I assumed it to be.

You need to calculate your UC/CSU GPA: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

UCM: Safety
UCR/SDSU/UCSC: Match-High Match
UCI/UCD/UCSB/SJSU: Low Reach
SLO/UCSD: Reach
UCLA/UCB: High Reach

You have picked one of the most competitive majors at all these schools. You need a UC/CSU GPA of 4.0+ and SAT/ACT scores in the 1450+(New SAT)/31+ to have a solid chance at the top 6 UC’s and SLO. Also with UC’s application review, your short answer essays and EC’s will have an impact on these decisions so chances are just based on your stats.

I suggest you also consider Cal Poly Pomona, Cal state Fullerton and Long Beach and drop a couple of UC’s if you cannot get your GPA and test scores up into a competitive range.

My UC and CSU GPA is around 3.64. By this time its kind of impossible to get my GPA up unless colleges consider grades from 12th grade?
