Chance me for UC's and csu's?

Hi!
I applied to all UC’s but Merced, Irvine, and Riverside. Csu’s: sdsu, Cal Poly SLO, and csuLB. I know UCLA and UCB are very big reaches but I figured I might as well take a shot at it. UCSB is my top choice and I’m really hoping I get in!

UC gpa: 4.04 (upward trend sophomore to junior, 3.67 to 4.5 weighted)

SAT 1: 1350 (680 math, 670 CR) 8-7-8 essay Superscore: (for Cal Poly) 1370 with same essay
AP scores: AP Land and Comp (5) AP environmental (5) AP World (3) APUSH (3)
Senior year taking AP Gov, AP Econ, AP Biology, AP physics 1
Intended major: Environmental studies/ environmental science/ natural reasource management

demographic: in-state, white female not applying for aid.

EC: -500+ hours of community service, lots of it focused on my major. (Ceres Community Project; Teen leader)
-4 yrs of Varsity Volleyball, captain sr year and mvp junior year. Volunteers as coach for summer camps
-Global Student Embassy: traveled to Panama and Nicaragua through non-profit to work on reforestation and building sustainable food sourses (school gardens).
-Been competitively riding horses for 10 years, won multiple awards in California. Volunteers at summer camps for kids.
-interned at my barn to make money to pay for my riding
-Currently works part time as a resturant hostess (10 hours a week)
-CSF 2 years
-Principal’s highest Honor Roll junior year
-Physics Scholar: Highest grade in the physics class I took Junior year
-Top 15% of my class in a competitive public school
-Have had my ceramic sculptures featured in local art shows, I take classes at my community center after I took both ceramic classes at my school.
Had a fix of A’s and B’s Freshman and Sophomore due to my mom going through extensive cancer treatment and surgeries that left her partially debilitated and my struggle with an autoimmune disease that I overcame through cutting out tons of foods (basically going paleo) it had a major affect on my energy level and caused me to get sick often. Since I took control of my health I have kept up straight A’s. I explained this in my additional comments section.
Essays: I think they are pretty strong; edited by my English teacher and my mom who used to be an editor. They all have a similar theme that shows my personality and how it ties into what I want to study. Did one about ceramics and how it has given me the ability to problem solve independently which I thought turned out pretty cool.

So chances for these schools? Thank you so much!

You are a competitive applicant for the majority of schools on your list. The top UC’s: UCB/UCLA and even UCSD are always tough admits.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:

UCB: 12%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 39%
UCSB: 49%
UCD: 52%
UCI: 57%
UCSC: 83%
UCR: 90%
UCM: 92%

SDSU/CSULB: Safety
SLO: Low Match
UCI/UCD: Match
UCSB: Match-High Match
UCSD: Low Reach
UCB/UCLA: Low Reach-Reach

You will have many choices come Spring and Good Luck.

I agree with @Gumbymom. UCLA and UCB will probably definitely be closer to reach.

Thank you so much! Do you think that my intended major, given that it is not impacted and that I have shown true interest in it, will benefit me come admission time? Specifically for UCSB?

Environmental Science/Studies is the College of L&S for UCSB does not admit by major, so it will have no impact on your chances.

You are a competitive for all of them - obviously, the most selective UCs are far less than certain. Their admission is subjective and can be a crap shoot for someone with your stats. I bet 6 of the 9 UCs accept you. Which 6 is hard to say
Good luck.
