Chance me for UCs and more!!

Well, I did a thread about chancing me to UCLA with my first semester sophomore report card and asked if I still have a chance to get in there if I improve. I decided to do my overall grades and see if you guys can chance me now for these colleges. I’m a junior right now at a public high school. I’m from So Cal and I’m Mexican, if that helps.? I’m thinking about engineering (aeronautical or electrical) or a lawyer.

My Freshman Year

-English ACC B/A
-PE A/A
-Spanish Speakers B/B
-Geometry ACC B/A
-World Geography A/A

Spanish B/A
Algebra 2 B/A
AP World History B/A+
PE A/A

I also took Health (A [mandatory]) during vacation. Idk if colleges count that.

Haven’t done the SAT, SAT IIs, ACT, PSAT (lost it)

ECs
* Played high school soccer
* Play competitive soccer.
( I don’t have a lot right now, but these are some things I’m doing next year.)
* Join a class club
* Help the YMCA
* Join a club at my school for community service.
* Varsity X-Country
* Varsity Soccer
* Varsity Track
* ETC.

Now for the colleges…
* UCLA
* UCSD
* UCB
* UCI
* UCSB
* UCR
* Ohio State-Columbia
* Miami University
* Texas-Austin
* UF
* USC
* NYU
* BU
* Wake Forest
* Notre Dame, Stanford, Cal Tech (for the heck of it)

Safeties
* SDSU (I’m basically in with this one program at my school)
* CSU Long Beach
* USD?

just go and kick some @#% during your junior year, since UCLA only looks at sophomore and junior years.

Its really hard to chance you without any standardized test scores…
but i think i can safely say you’re in at UCR, and thats all i can say, without test scores

thats what i have been thinking. im not going to get a lot of chances without the test scores. But ill make sure the SAT will be 2000+, SAT IIs 650+, ACT 30+. Believe it haha

with those scores… im not certain about it all, but:

Stanford,Cal Tech-High Reach
UCB,UCLA,USC, Notre Dame, Wake Forest-Reach
UCSD,BU,NYU-Low Reaches/High Matches
UCI,UCSB,Miami,UTexas,OSU,UF-Matches
UCR-safety

You should work really hard in junior year, and really keep your GPA strong.

also, why dont you try your luck at Cal Poly-SLO, or Cal Poly Pomona, if you’re trying to do engineering

I dont know much about them, but i hear, they have very strong engineering programs.

thanks anyone else?

bump anyone else?
