Chance me, and possibly come up with some safetys?

Your ECs seem to center around music and playing the violin, be sure to emphasize your passion and commitment to that in your applications. As far as chances go…
Yale is a crapshoot for anyone, but your chances are much slimmer due to your test scores. Claremont McKenna also places a lot of weight on leadership, which you seem to be lacking, so your chances there are also pretty small. Northwestern, UCB, USC and, UCLA should be high matches/low reaches. UCSD and UCSB are matches. I don’t know about Vanderbilt. No one can come up with safeties if we don’t know what you are looking for. Intended major? School size? Location? Atmosphere and student body?

Also for safeties, posters need to know your budget, since safeties should be affordable.

I don’t think a “low” ACT will hurt your chances as much as RoundGenius is saying, but it obviously would help you if you improved it a little bit. Are you planning on taking it again and have you taken the SAT?

I have already taken it again, but I have yet to get my results. I was aiming for a 34. I took the SAT, but I got a low score(1970) and I far preferred taking the ACT!

Thanks so much for your feedback! It’s really helped. I have already taken the ACT again, still waiting on my scores.
For the info about my safeties: I am planning to double major in violin performance and life sciences, a middle to small size school is my preferred size, location is preferably in the state of CA(gotta have that sunshine!) but I’m open to other states! I’d honestly prefer a low-key atmosphere with more focus on academics, not a party person in the slightest, maybe more on the conservative side.
For budget, cheaper is better. I am eligible for very little financial aid(very middle class family) but I’m planning on at least trying to get a violin scholarship and definitely playing in chamber groups or orchestra.
