And counting I get accepted into these schools, which one should I attend? I don't think I'm crazy smart and I'm planning to apply to MD/PT school afterwards, so where would I not receive CRAZY competition? I don't want to study 24/7, I want to be able to have some free time and keep practicing jiu jitsu. But again should I go to the best school that I can get into?

well, lacking a rigorous course schedule may hurt you for your weighted GPA is only a 4.0, which is below the averages of BErekley and UCLA - (i assume this because if u had a hard course schedule and got B’s, ur unweighted wud be much lower)

Ur SAT scores are jus average…

50/50 shot at UCLA, USC, UCB - wouldnt be surprised if u got in, wouldnt be surprised if u didnt either

Prolly in at rest…

Yea, courses not too rigorous. Took honors english frosh/soph years (no gpa boost though), APs are what I listed, 2 sophomore year, 2 (plus 1 college class) jr year, 3 sr year. I took AP english first semester jr and got a C+, so I switched out to normal english (have A), dunno how bad that will look.

Really, is USC that hard to get into?

USC acceptance rate is around 25%, but it also depends on your major, and USC looks at the overall package( ecs, grades, scores, and etc), essay is important as well. good luck:)

ucsb,ucr,ucd,ucsc- good match
uci,ucsd- likely
ucb,ucla-50/50

USC not rly hard to get into and they really bias towards CAli Kids, but USC has the most messed up selection system ever…

Thanks guys. Planning on majoring in Kinesiology at USC, Exercise Biology at Davis, Integrative Biology at UCB, haven’t figured out rest yet. What do you mean USC is biased towards CA kids. Like they dont want that many kids from CA? And how is the selection system messed up?

USC loves CA Kids, and there are many cases where USC rejects the clearly stronger applicant while accepting the weaker one

Ah I see…I guess thats to my benefit (the CA thing) but man…that is weird.
