You appear to be in better shape than me. Community service and internships are excellent GPA is good enough. I’m not sure what my GPA is(all As and 4 Bs throughout tenth and eleventh grade), my SAT score is below average, and I don’t have community service (only sports). Overall you look better than me and I’m interested in engineering at UC schools as well.

You have good EC’s and community service which will help for the privates. Your UC GPA and SAT scores however, are low for an Engineering major. Average UC GPA for most of the UC’s is around a 4.0 and for STEM majors it is usually higher. For the UC’s GPA outweighs test scores more often, but UCSB/UCLA/UCB are more holistic in their admissions so your EC’s and essays will factor more heavily. You happen to be applying to one of the most competitive Engineering majors.

SLO/UCB/UCLA/UCSD/USC: Reach
UCSB/UCI/UCD: Low Reach
SANTA CLARA/LMU: High Match
CPP/UCR/SDSU: Match

You might want to add UCSC as another Match UC. Good Luck.
