Applying to: UCLA UCB UCSD (I know these 3 are so unlikely but i thought why not) UCI UCSB UCD and UCSC

Also, I always hear crap about UCSC? is it worth applying or should I go to a community ?

Be aware that admissions selectivity can vary by major or division (engineering is usually harder to get into than the more common liberal arts and sciences).

Also, be sure to check the “net price calculator” and “financial aid estimator” at each school’s web site.

You can check the admissions profiles here:
[University of California - Freshman admission profiles](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/profiles/index.html)

Also, [University of California: StatFinder](http://statfinder.ucop.edu) can stratify admissions by intended major group. Unfortunately, the latest data is from 2008-2009, and admissions has likely gotten more selective since then.

You look good for the mid tier UCs, the last 4 on your list. It does depend on major though. Engineering and science majors can be much tougher to get into. Your UC GPA is low for all except SC, but your SAT is above average for all. This should provide the balance to tip you in for most majors.

The problem with the UCs is they just keep getting harder as they open themselves to more OOS students and as the bad economy keeps many families away from private schools. So no guarantees except for SC.

Ahhh If i applied undeclared life science am i just screwed then!?
