Your UC GPA and test scores are on target for all the UC’s. You have some good EC’s so make sure you spend time on your personal insight essays and make them outstanding.
As always UCB/UCLA are Reach schools but you have a shot.
These stats are based on overall admit rates for the UC’s as a whole and not major specific.
Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:
UCB: 14%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 44%
UCSB: 54%
UCD: 58%
UCI: 65%
UCSC: 85%
UCR: 94%
UCM: 96%
Thank you for your prompt response Gumbymom
you will be competitive for all but the most selective UCs. Apply broadly though because UC admission is a bit of a black box. I’d also apply to SDSU, CPP and CSULB.
UPDATE
August SAT’s are out today. so I am updating with the new results. There is a significant improvement so it will be appreciated if you could chance me again taking under consideration the new results.
