You look like a qualified and competitive applicant for all the schools on your list. I really do not see a safety school so I would add UC Santa Cruz or Riverside, just in case.

Best of luck.

Even for their engineering programs? Also my safety is going to community college.

I said you are competitive, it does not mean you will be accepted at every school and yes engineering will be more difficult than many other majors. You should apply widely to the UC’s, so that is why I suggested UCR/UCSC. You might also want to consider the other Cal Poly- Pomona for Engineering.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 4.20 or above (capped weighted) and not major specific:

UCB: 42%
UCLA: 54%
UCSD: 87%
UCSB: 85%
UCD: 91%
UCI: 94%
UCR/UCM: 98%

25th - 75th percentiles for SAT:

UCB: 1280-1490

UCLA: 1280-1500
UCSD: 1250-1470
UCSB: 1290-1450
UCD: 1190-1430
UCI: 1190-1420
UCSC: 1170-1380
UCR: 1090-1310
UCM: 1020-1230
