Chance me for:

Stanford EA

UIUC Priority Application
Cal Poly SLO
Case Western
RPI
St. John's

Not taking any APs will make it difficult to even get into most UCs and other selective schools on your list. Were they offered at your school? Did the college courses you take meet all your A through G requirements? Your uw GPA of 3.5 is also low for the top-tier UCs. You will need to convert your GPA to the UC GPA. If your school is ELC eligible, but you were not in the top 9% of your class, this reduces your chances at the top-tier UCs even more. Are you declaring to major in Engineering on your applications? If so, this will make the applicant pools extremely competitive for you. I would add UCI, UCSB, and UCSC to your list of UCs. Same application, you just check another box and add an additional $60 application fee to each additional UC school.

Stanford is completely out of reach and Cal Poly SLO is also a low reach if you are an Engineering major. Not sure how your profile matches UIUC, RPI, and Case Western but do know they all have excellent Engineering schools. UIUC won’t have any merit aid money to offer you since you are OOS. You should be good to go at St. Johns but why go there? Doesn’t make financial good sense to me.
