Im looking at your grades and i don’t see how it stacks up to a 4.1 GPA. But other than that your supposed 4.1 is good for the likes of UCLA. If you get your SAT score up to what you said you would like then you are a very good candidate for UCLA

My apologies! That is counting freshman year grades!

My apologies! That is counting freshman year grades!

Calculate your UC GPA: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Your C and D+ are going to hurt you chances at most of the UC’s and unless you get that SAT score up to at least 1900, your best chance at any UC would be UCR/UCM and maybe UCSC. UC’s are very GPA focused and although you are retaking the Precalculus class, you will still need to report that D on your application come this fall. Your EC’s and leadership are great but it looks like you put your time and energy into your EC’s and not your classes. Not a good impression for admissions. All you can do is try and salvage your GPA and aim for that great SAT score. Good Luck.

Are you in state? If you are then you stand a decent chance at UCSB and UCI. However UCLA is a bit of a reach in or out of state.
