Essays: Good-Great
Teacher Recs: Fair-Good

Rigorous course load, great GPA, good ACT, great ECs, and average honors/awards. Your only weakness is your SAT IIs.

USC: safe match (80%)
Berkeley: high match - match (60-70%)
UCLA: match
UCSD: safety (ELC)
UCSB/UCI: safety (ELC)

does that look about right? anybody wanna give a second opinion?

your uc gpa is not correct (urs is about a 4.3 capped, which is a quality effort nonetheless)

hahah oh gosh how am i going to get into ANY schools if i can’t even calculate my uc gpa correctly!?

if i got a C in AP physics first semester of this year would it significantly affect my chances of getting into UCLA?

UC gpa is slightly incorrect try to recalculate it, but nonetheless:
USC: safe match
Berkeley: match
UCLA: match
UCSD: safety
UCSB: safety
UCI: safety

since you live in cali, those state schools are matches

all the UC’s are safeties for you except LA and Berkeley. But you are extremely competitive for those so one or both should give you a nod.

USC might give you a chance but its hard to tell. I have friends with your stats and better scores that got rejected. I got into USC with a 3.3 unweighted gpa and a 2090 SAT, so it shows that this school is hard to read when it comes to who it wants in each freshmen class. they tend to care more about how your ec’s and other life experiences interplay into your academics.

Good Luck!
