Looking at UCD,UCLA,UCSD, UCB, USC

Chanced back! Bump!

GPA could hurt you.
EC’s other than the music haven’t shown much consistency/dedication. Being Relay for Life Team Captain for a single year means absolutely nothing. Your orchestra tour also isn’t a separate EC in and of itself, but a part of being in CYS.

How many AP classes have you taken?
Here’s how I would rate:
Grades: 7
Test Scores: 10 (relatively-- not perfect but for the UC’s pretty darn close)
EC: 7

I’d say high match for UCB and UCLA, UCD and UCI and UCSD match, and the others backup. Good luck!

UCD: Safety/LOW match
UCLA: High match
UCSD: Match
UCB: High Match
USC: Match

Looking realll good man, if you write good personal statements, i see you getting into all of these schools!

Are you majoring in genetics or bio or something? because if its engineering or something more competitive, it will be tougher!

@BA1015CA Thanks for the honest and realistic advice. 6 AP classes. My EC list is just a quick overview. I’ve done alot of things within each ECs so there’s that to consider. Otherwise, I would have to agree with you. My GPA is a little bit low.

UCD: safety
UCLA: match/high match (did you get the C in your sophomore or junior year?
UCSD: match
UCB: high match/low reach
USC: match
Btw, just send in your ACT score (not your three SATs). Your GPA is a tad bit low for UCLA and Berkeley, since they care alot about GPA. Btw, chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1598216-last-chancing-i-will-chance-back.html#latest

I’m going to say if your gpa is justified somehow (haven’t seen the transcript so I don’t know), count on getting into either UCB or UCLA along with all the others!

Btw, if that C was in freshmen year, the UCs dont give a rat’s a s s :)

They would probably be all matches, ucb and ucla would probably be high matchs though
