<p>You need to:
-finish the semesters with as many A's as possible
-try to get an SAT of 1900+ or an ACT of 28+
-get some leadership positions (whether it be officer of a club or something else, EC hours is not counted for some UCs which is why you need to make sure you have a leadership position)
-consider taking courses at your city college to boost your gpa (UC-transferable 3.0 semester unit classes count as AP), it doesnt look like you would have taken advantage of those 8 extra gpa points</p>
