I'm currently a high school senior, and I was wondering which UC's I'd have a chance of getting into.

Academic GPA Weighted: 3.29
Acedemic GPA Unweighted: 3.10

Total GPA Weighted: 3.38
Total GPA Unweighted: 3.21

UC GPA Weighted: 3.045

SAT I Score: 2,020. 640 Reading. 690 Math. 690 Writing.
SAT II Score: 800 on Math Level 2.

I was in orchestra for 8 years, first chair for 6 years.
On the school tennis team for all 4 years. Captain for 1 year.
In the Boy Scouts of America 8 years.
Had a summer internship at the California Senator's office.
Orchestral Director for 3 years at a Summer Program.

What are my chances of getting into:

UC Irvine?
UC Riverside?
UC Davis?
UC Santa Barbara?
UC Merced?
UC Santa Cruz?

Thanks in advance for your help.

GPA is the most important metric, which is what you don’t have, unfortunately.

UC Irvine - reach
UC Riverside - match
UC Davis - reach
UC Santa Barbara - reach
UC Merced - match
UC Santa Cruz - high match

Consider CC transfer.

You’d probably struggle to get into all of them except for Riverside or Merced unfortunately

Your SAT would’ve been good enough to get you into most of these UC’s, unfortunately your GPA makes those chances slim. UCM and UCR are low matches/matches, mid and high tier UC’s high matches/reaches.

I would recommend applying to Riverside or Merced, working your butt off there for a year, and then transferring to one of the more academically strong UCs.

Best of luck!

I don’t recommend that, if you have your heart set on one of the other UC’s your best option is going to a CCC and then transferring, they give CCC students way higher priority.

With your stats UCSC and lower tier UC’s are were you should focus. Good Luck!

thank you everyone for all your help!
