Hi guys I was wondering if you could chance me for the University of California at Santa Barbara.

UC gpa: 3.72

ACT: 32

SAT II scores: Math 2 : 800

USH: 760

ECs: 100 hours community service

Volunteered as a tutor in an official tutoring program in library

Worked as an intern/manager at a car dealership for over 100 hours

4 years as an officer of a club, 1 year being the VP of said club

Horseback riding

Play guitar

DECA club senior year

Tutoring program in hs for 50 hours

I know my gpa isnt the greatest, but do you guys think that my test scores and ec makeup for it? Thanks for your input!

UC GPA is a little low but the ACT and SAT II’s are above average for SB. Good chance of getting in.

Do something out of the ordinary that makes you stand out, that’s the best way to get noticed by your colleges of choice in my opinion.

I think you have a competitive chance at UCSB. Why not try for UCLA or UCB? There’s no hurt in trying. One thing I can recommend for you is to make sure you don’t spread yourself thin by applying to too many colleges. Pick a number that’s write for you.

Can you please chance me back? Thank you!
