Chance me for UCSB Please!

UCSB is one of my top choice universities to attend after high school and I was hoping someone would give me insight on my chances of getting accepted. I plan on applying as a pre-bio major.

GPA: 4.25 W, 3.83 UW
UC GPA: 4.21
SAT: 1700 (CR 560, M 600, W 510) (Retaking in Nov.)

MY extracurriculars include:
-103 hours of community service spent at a local hospital (117 total)
-Cross-Country for 4 years (Varsity since Junior year)
-Track for 4 years (Varsity since Sophomore year)
-Drama program for one semester (starred in one play)
-FFA Club for one year
-Health Club for two years
-Telescope Operators Club for two years
-Orchestra Program (Freshman & Senior Year)
-AVID Program for two years
-Talent Search Program for two years
-Current employee at a fast food restaurant
-Top 2% of my class out of 544 students

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

You’re done dude… Your SAT score is too low ;-;

Seriously?

If you can bring your SAT up 200 pt when you re-take, I think you’ll get in. Study hard!
Good luck

I think you’ll get in. My SAT wasn’t even average (sad truth) but I did a lot of extracurricular activities and clubs like you did and I got in. Just study hard for your upcoming SAT :)

Since Bio is a very competitive major, I would say Low Reach due to your SAT score. If you can get it up to a 1900, then it is a Match. Although UCSB tends to be more holisitic and will consider EC’s and essays, you are a below the average SAT for your major.
