Questions:Haven’t taken any tests yet, practice tests say around 30 ACT.

UCLA/UCB: Reach
SLO/UCSD: Low Reach
You need around a 32+ ACT for a solid chance at CS at these schools. I hope you have some good Match and Safety schools on your list. Your GPA is excellent but with around a 10% acceptance rate into the CS programs, it will be a tough admit without an outstanding ACT score. These schools with exception of UCB, do not accept letters of recommendation. UCB will accept LOR’s by invitation only.
