I know that UCLA and UCB may not even look at my application with that low GPA so I'm at least hoping that I get into UCSB its my last hope before I start thinking about state universities

UCSB - 0/100 chance REJECTED

They REQUIRE Math and English both done by Fall 2013 at UCSB.

Your GPA is good for UCSB though and your major, you’ll get rejected but once you complete those you can appeal

I don’t think they even send out conditional acceptances there either

But I’d say your chances of appealing are like 80/20

None of my counselors told me about that, I thought completing all the requirements of =IGETC is only required for TAG?

This is from their transfer page:

“Students do not have to complete IGETC in order to be admitted to UCSB. The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) is a series of courses that prospective transfer students attending California community colleges may complete to satisfy the lower-division breadth/general education requirements at both the University of California and the California State University.”

Are you sure about the English and Math? If that is so then I will be rejected from All UCS and it was a waste of money applying

According to their website ([UCSB Admissions](http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/SelectionProcess.asp?selectiontype=prospective_transfer):))

While this doesn’t dismiss your chances at being accepted, it does diminish them in a way. You will be seen as less competitive compared to other applicants. Where else did you apply?

@Ocnative - they may not say it outright but I’ve looked through last year and the year befores threads and a lot of people had qualifying GPA’s a couple 3.8+ but completed those requirements in Spring and were rejected so…just a heads up

@Ocnative

All the UCs except santa cruz and davis, and I can’t go to Irvine and San diego may not be an option too

@matt4200: I will call them next Monday to find out, I hope not though, I stayed long in CC to take 60 units just so I can transfer to a UC, that would be a bummer if I didn’t get accepted to any one of them :(

Why is UCI and UCSD off?

@smltk1505h

it has nothing to do with my application, the major is not approved in my country from these universities, the only option I have is changing my major after I enroll but it would be no guarantee that I would get into one of the approved majors after I get in so looks like it would be better if I stayed away
