I am currently in my junior year of high school and would like to be chanced for UCSC, USC, UCI, UC Davis, UCSB, NYU, Reed College, and UVA.

Unweighted GPA: 3.38 (will improve this year)
Weighted GPA: 3.63
SAT: 1440 (taking again in the spring.) I got an 8/7/8 on my essay.
SAT Subject: Bio (730), Math 2- haven’t taken yet but should be around a 750-800
AP: AP Bio (4). Plan to take: AP Lang (4), AP Calc AB (5), AP Environmental Sci. (5), AP Lit (4), AP Stat (5), AP Gov (5)

Classes:
Freshman year- Regular English, Leadership, Spanish 1, Accelerated Alg 2, Honors Bio, Speech and Debate, PE
*Took Chemistry over the summer
Sophomore year- Accelerated English, Leadership, Spanish 3, Pre Calculus Honors, AP Bio, Journalism, World History
Junior year- AP Lang, AP Calc AB, AP Environmental Science, Spanish 5, Journalism, Leadership, U.S. History
Senior year (yet to take)- Psychology, AP Lit, AP Stats, AP Gov, Journalism, Leadership

My GPA is low because last year I got 2 C’s in Pre Calculus honors and had a really difficult teacher, but at least now I’m over prepared for Calculus :slight_smile:

Field Hockey for 4 years: JV Captain sophomore year, (hopefully) Varsity captain senior year

I work at a consignment store that recycles teen-young adult clothing and sells it for lower prices.
Vice President at a Radio club at my school: produces a podcast every month filled with cool music and student discussion
Also involved in a mental health awareness club

Planning to major in either General Psychology or Neuroscience
