Chance me for UCSC?

I’m planning on applying to UCSC this fall, and I know it’s one of the easier UCs to get into-- regardless, it’s still a UC, so I’d love if anyone could chance me for it.

I’m currently a junior in California, a white female.

Scores –

  • Intended major-- Ecology and Evolution
  • SAT-- 1320 (720 reading / writing, 600 math – I’m taking it again in the spring soon, and expect my math score to improve quite a bit)
  • ACT – 31 (ELA 30, STEM 29 – also taking again, also expect math score to rise)
  • PSAT – 1270 (730 reading / writing, 540 math)
  • Plan on taking the SAT Spanish Subject test in spring for Seal of Biliteracy
  • GPA – 3.79 weighted, 3.60 nonweighted (cumulative thus far)

APs –

  • 0 freshman year (to this day I regret this; wish I’d taken AP World)
  • 1 sophomore year (AP European History) – also took Honors English II
  • 2 junior year (APES and AP Psychology)
  • 3 senior year (planned – AP Biology, AP Lit / Comp, AP Gov)

ECs –

  • Plan on doing cross country all four years (JV)
  • I’m currently greatly locally involved with the activism that Parkland has stirred up – I was a co-organizer of the walkout at my school, am collaborating with organizers from 10 other schools in my area, and we plan on expanding greatly as the movement progresses
  • Similar to the above, the other organizers at my school and I have begun meeting weekly with the principal to discuss what we can do to increase safety and well-being at our school (not sure if this or the above counts, as it’s nothing official but is a community leadership sort of thing)
  • I plan on joining my school newspaper staff next year
  • I also plan on volunteering at a local marine research center as a public programs docent (basically showing people the interactive tidepools and talking about the area’s natural history)

Based on this, what’re my chances?

Forgot to mention-- I’ll also be participating in a program called Link Crew at my school next year, in which upperclassmen each take on a small group of freshmen and act as a leader and mentor to them for the whole year.
