Hello маусинаблэндэр ! Let’s leave the uncertainty principle out of UF’s admission’s and look at the hard facts:

Your unweighted GPA is not too bad, and your weighted falls into the norm. It won’t add nor remove any points from your case. However the fact that you studied at a rigorous private school could balance it in your favor.(Gaahh, this whole weighted GPA is tearing me apart. Being an international student, we don’t have that here, I really hope they take that into consideration!)

Your SAT score is nice, but definitely retake it in November! (I’m also retaking it then.) How about we both aim for a 1400+ CR/M? We can do it! What are you intending to major in by the way?

-EC’s : This is a tricky one, but looking at the past admitted students, I wouldn’t say it’s bad but not toooo impressive in their eyes. I feel ya’ though, EC’s practically don’t even exist here in Brazil, so everything was by my own accord. Astronomy club is cool… How I wish we had one of those ^^…

-Community service: Would be good to specify where those 75+ were contributed to. This and with the awards makes a nice case for you.

All in all, I would say UCF and FSU are spot-on matches. UF would be a bit higher, as you’d probably imagine. Just get those scores up and try to do as many significant things as possible in these final moments leading up to the app deadline! Good luck, and hopefully we’ll see each other on campus!

What is your current SAT score?

i think you have great chances for your listed schools. university of florida might be somewhat of a high match, but if u get a 1250 or 1300 sat, ur in for sure. gpa is good for all schools and ec’s arent bad either. chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1684824-chance-me-to-virginia-tech-georgia-tech-cal-poly-uiuc-usc-uc-berkeley-industrial-engineering.html#latest
