UF - safety, and you’ll get Bright Futures, I’m sure
NYU - match
Vandy - reach

BTW, take macro onilne, I did FLVS macro and got a 5. I finished it in November and studied about half an hour for the exam.

You can get into all of these. Why aren’t ivies possible for you? Good GPA, good rank, pretty good SAT II’s and AP Scores. If you re-take the SAT I’s, it’s very possible.

How did you like FLVS Macro? I could probably arrange to have a period in school when I could just go on the computer and do that, so I’m really considering doing so.

I would say that the Ivies are out of my reach because I do not have the flawless record that a lot of others have, especially on here. I got B’s in random, absurd classes, like Algebra I, World History Honors, and Psychology I. Plus I do not think I could afford going to those schools, and I don’t see why, from their perspective, they would want to give me loads of scholarships.

Well, FLVS tends to theme its content a bit immaturely. Macro was themed to a tropical vacation in the Macro Islands, with you as a businessman giving a presentation to a CEO. Read the textbook and take good notes, please. I didn’t read the textbook for macro and finished with an 89.7%. (I learned my way with micro, read the textbook, and finished with a 95%.) The tests are pretty hard (I had a C test average for micro and a D average for macro), but there’s a lot of homework to boost your grade, and you can keep resubmitting homework until you get a 100.

Luckily, the course covers the entire AP curriculum and is very, very interesting. I didn’t know a thing about economics before taking macro and micro, and now I absolutely love the subject.

You don’t need an FLVS period, either. I did it outside of school, along with a robust helping of extracurriculars, and I had time to spare.

UF: Match
NYU: Low Reach
Vandy: Reach

Try and get your SAT scores up.

Yeah, I figured that my SAT I score would be my biggest weakness. I’ve only taken it once though, and I didn’t prep as much as I should have, so I’m going to shoot for at least a 2100.
