Class Rank: right outside top 10%, im 11%
Taken 8 AP classes by end of high school with the rest honors and 1 dual enrollment</p>

<p>Extracurriculars
Cross Country (9-12) - Captain
Track and Field(9-12) Captain
Math Honors Society (10-12)-Vice President
Key Club (10-12)
Have 200 community service hours</p>

Rookie of the Year 2009-Cros country
Will to Win- 2011-Cross Country

MVP-2012-Track and field
AP scholar with honors
School record holder in 1600m
Have 3 district titles
Have 1 regional title
All conference athlete for 3 years</p>

-Wrote an average essay, nothing over the top but well written with no grammatical errors
-im African American
-First generation born in america
-Dad is alumni</p>

<p>You’re probably in UF, but affirmative action could probably get you into somewhere like Duke as well</p>

<p>I got accepted to USF and FSU, I got accepted to both and will attend USF honors if I don’t get accepted to UF.</p>

<p>With your stats, I do not see why UF is going to be hard to get in! The school is harder to get into in past years but you also have a great resume! The ACT is not super great but all the rest is great plus the school is selective but not ultra selective! I think you are more than qualified for that school! GOOD Luck</p>

<p>you should not be nervous because you have already done everything that is required of you and your resume is an excellent match for uf. your gpa and test scores are in in the median, your father is alumni, and your extra-curricular, specifically your athletics, which all say you have a good chance, but dont take any of this too serious. just make sure you turn in your housing application and look for scholarships because uf is cheap. good luck to you.</p>

<p>Thanks, i know that in the end UF is the one who decides if i get in, so i have to wait until Feb. 8. and I already did my housing app, hopefully it wasnt a waste of $25</p>

<p>I think youve got a great chance. Youve got similar stats as other students who get accepted to Florida so there shouldnt be a problem.</p>
