What are my chances with a 26 ACT and only a 4.2 weighted GPA which is something like a 3.6-3.7 in academic form? My transcript shows exponential improvement after my freshman year when I entered school at barely 13 and proceded to get multiple D’s & C’s, which was my fault of course. I have an AICE diploma and have taken AICE courses throughout HS. I entered a state university when I was 15 part-time and started full-time dual enrollment this year (16 now) with 5 physical courses per semester. I’ve gotten A’s in every college course I’ve taken with the exception of one B, and I’ve been approved for junior and senior level courses at the university for next semester. As for extracurriculars…I’ve coded an educational website from scratch and got it partnered with my local homeless coalition, am nationally certified as a domestic abuse/sexual violence victim advocate and continue to work with those victims, founded a club or two junior year with friends, am a quasi-paralegal for primarily disadvantaged individuals in a community legal aid office, write for my local university’s school newspaper, write part-time for the PBS/NPR magazine, volunteer for the campaign of a local politician, went to Boy’s State last summer. Do I have any real chance at getting in? Is this even a realistic goal? My extracurriculars seem good but I’m worried my academic stats for HS are going to hurt me badly in the review process. I’ve never really been confident in myself, I was pretty surprised when I got accepted to FSU last week lol. I’d appreciate any feedback whatsoever but I only want honest answers. Thanks!!
