I think your chances are good but not great. To get a truer picture, it would be better for you to calculate your UF GPA, which is just academic classes with a .5 bonus for honors classes and 1 point for APs. My guess is that you will be near the bottom of the UF lane, meaning about 75 percent of admits last year had a GPA equal or higher than yours. Same with the ACT score - bottom of the lane. Your rigor, not counting your senior year, is also not competitive compared to many applicants. I have no idea how UF will weigh your full-time DE enrollment for your senior year. Could be a wildcard in your favor, but I honestly don’t know. Lastly, you haven’t shared any major ECs or other activities which will make you stand out. If your part time work and caring for your siblings has prevented you from doing other activities, you should make sure you stress that in your application. Not trying to rain on your chance parade, just being honest. You will likely sail into other state schools in Florida with merit scholarships, but I would have those lined up as safeties as soon as possible.
As for UF, I would recommend taking the ACT again to see if you can raise that. Sadly, UF doesn’t superscore the ACT, but a 30+ score would help you. Also, be sure to work hard on your essay, which is very important to UF. You also need to really sell your extra curriculars. UF wants well-rounded superstars and they get them in their applicant pool.
Good luck and let us know how you do.
