Extra info:
I submitted my application for dual enrollment with UF in the spring, I meet all the requirements so I believe I will be accepted, and I plan to mention that I applied somewhere in my coalition application. I also intend to mention that once my application is submitted I will be registering for Gator For a Day. Would it make sense to mention those two things in the section of the application that asks whether there is anything else they should know about you? I want to make it clear that UF is my top choice and I am very dedicated to becoming a student there

I know everyone talks about “what is your UF recalculated gpa?”

@jhmoney I’m not sure if I did it correctly but I think my recalculated UF GPA would be around 4.4

4.4 is pretty good and right in there if correct.

@jhmoney Thank you for your help!

If you want to go to UF, take 2 dual enrollment per semester at UF. Based on what you indicated

Econ
Math

Math
Art

@FlaParent Would taking 2 classes with UF in the spring instead of just 1 really make that much of a difference?

@FlaParent Thank you for the advice, by the way!

@FlaParent I’m already in my senior year and taking classes at community college so it’s too late to start UF classes now, I’m starting UF dual enrollment in the spring.

I’m not in admissions officer just relaying what I’ve observed. It appears to me that the University of Florida does not like Classes to be taken at community colleges.

@FlaParent when you say that, do you mean they do not like classes at community college at all or if the class is offered at the high school they don’t want you taking it at CC?
