Can any of you do me a quick favor and chance me for UGA and GT? Ok, I have a 3.8 GPA (WEIGHTED), and a 1600SAT (PSAT) I am studying all summer for a 1800+ SAT. </p>

<p>GPA is fine. I know that your going to need to get a 1750+ on the SAT to even be considered at UGA, and will probably need to score higher than that for tech. UGA also likes to see at least 6 AP’s, but all of your great extra curriculars will certainly make up for any slight academic shortcomings that you have. I think that you have a really excellent shot if you can get that SAT score where it needs to be.</p>

<p>Your SAT should definitely be 1800+ for either school. You should note that UGA and GT get more selective by the year, not only in terms of who gets accepted - but also the application pool. Both schools saw about 3-4k increase in number of applications this year. Study hard! Great ECs!</p>
<p>The average admitted student at UGA took 6 AP courses and 7.2 at Georgia Tech.</p>
