<p>I'm pretty nervous about getting into UGA at the moment..
My main problem is my low gpa.. </p>

<p>UGA Weighted GPA: 3.3 (up to junior year) - Currently maintaining a 3.9 this senior year</p>

<p>ACT composite: 29 (plan to take and increase one more time - hopefuly 30+)
English-28
Math-31
Science-27
Reading-32
essay-8</p>

<p>A total of 8 AP classes including senior years</p>

<p>President of Photography club
Senior Officer (A little bit like student government)
Secretary of Beta club
Member of national art honor society
member of y club</p>

<p>EC:
Heavily maintained with a local church and its community service projects (300+ hours)
maintaining a art/photography business (over 70 total clients)
Dozens of leadership roles
in addition to all school clubs that I am in</p>

<p>is that gpa weighted or unweighted? ur test scores are so much better than mine. we have the opposite issue haha.</p>

<p>It includes the .5 quality point uga gives to ap classes. Honors classes are unaffected.</p>

<p>You made the right choice not going EA. Some kid in my AP Physics got deferred EA with a 3.1 GPA and a 2170 SAT. It didn’t even matter that he was president of his club and he didn’t have the opportunity to express himself through recs or essays.</p>

<p>I think you stand a good chance if you end the semester strong and wrote killer essays. good luck!!</p>
