I am currently a senior in high school.
My SATs aren't that good, 1530 overall. :/ 540-M 480-CR

I have 250+ hours community service.
In Beta Club, Foreign Language Club, P.U.R.S.U.E, Student Council, Journalism, & Band
I have taken AP US History and AP World History, currently enrolled in AP Statistics and AP Calculus... So I will have 4 AP's by graduation
I'm terrified of applying because I simply hate rejection...
Do you think I have any chance of getting in?

I am a Georgia resident.

bump bump bump

I would say match… what’s your safety?

High Match. It helps that your in state but your SAT is quite a bit lower than the middle 50% and your GPA is barely in the middle. I still think, though, that you have a pretty darn good chance with your ECs!
Good luck!

My safety is FAMU… But I REALLY don’t want to go there. I’m considering taking the SAT again but I’m not sure if it’s too late. Thanks you guys, I think I might actually apply. (:

I say take the SAT again ASAP! If you get deferred or waitlisted then you can send in your SAT as long as you improved (STUDY!) and that will look really good and drastically improve your chances! Schools love to see improvement!
Good Luck! I hope you get in!

Or take the ACT also…

Anybody else?
