Your 1350 (CR & M) SAT and 3.84 uw /4.80 weighted gpa makes each of these schools a match (except Alabama and NC state are safeties for you and UVA and UNC are reaches). Try and get higher SAT and/or ACT if you really want to be competitive for UVA and UNC, esp. Since you are OOS for both those schools.
@whuff24 O ok. Thanks for the info. I don’t really know that much about OSU but they do give out good merit aid for out of state students so it’s definitely on my list.

@BatesParents2019 Money of course is a priority but my parents can afford any college really and said not to worry about the cost of the colleges and just find some that I like. UMD is the only instate school im interested in.
@md1998 I was just curious because with your stats you could go to a prestigious school like Bucknell, Case Western, Wake Forest, University of Rochester, Villanova, etc for the same cost.
@BatesParents2019 I am thinking of maybe applying to Wake Forest. I still don’t know if I want to go that south. I originally liked Villanova and for awhile it was my number 1 school I wanted to go to. I visited it and absolutely hated it. I felt like everything was focused around religion (I am not very religious) but they were extremely over bearing and constantly talked about faith and religion the whole tour. Also the dorms were horrible especially for how expensive VU is. I know I could look at some better schools but I really want a college with sports teams.
@BatesParents2019 I recently added UMich as an extreme reach but I really like it. Plus my cousins live there so thats a plus. Stanford I obviously have no chance and ND I have no chance.
