<p>I was just curious since the applications are coming and I want to get a different perspective. What are my chances at getting into UMKC's B.A./M.D. Program and a B.A./M.D. program in general?</p>

<p>Will probably have glowing letters of recommendation.</p>

<p>So, what do you guys think? How strong of a candidate am I? Be as harsh as possible! Thank you!</p>

<p>I think it is up to your interviewing skills. You should find old post of applicants who were accepted and read about their interview experiences since they are not as science based as regular med school interviews. I still think it is smart to find an under served specialty of medicine and become an expert on it. This way you will be able to carry a 30 minute interview without notes and look mature beyond your age. Remember to smile since they are looking for someone who " works and plays well with others".</p>

<p>Apply to a bunch with great essays to get 4 or more interviews and maybe a couple of acceptances. Good luck.</p>
