UNC: High Match/Low Reach
Duke: Reach

Is Dale speaking course paid for? If it is, you might not want to put it on

Thanks for the quick reply!! Would you mind elaborating a little on UNC/ Duke predictions?

Well first of all Duke is a reach for everyone unless you have these amazing ECs
UNC puts a lot of emphasis on test scores and I think the SATs are around 40-50th percentile. But your ECs are nice.

Ya according to College Board my SATs are in 75% for total which I am assuming is like 85% for in state students for UNC…also I think applying early action will help out…but ya Duke is a stretch I’m just applying for fun since I live right next to the campus…what would you say my percentage is for UNC?

50-65
10char

Youre in for UNC, but Duke, even with a mandatory higher allowance for in state students, is a reach. It is simply a reach for most students who apply but you are competitive enough to have a chance at acceptance for sure. I’m applying to both places as well but Duke RD

i think you have good chances
